If I was rating this game as a working game, I'd give it an 8/10. Eventually, it will get you and your entire progress will be completely wiped out. Every time you crash like this there's a chance your save file will get corrupted. If you're playing this game on PS5 you will get frequent crashes after finishing a race. It's very difficult to rate this game without taking into account the game breaking issues around game crashes and save file corruptions.
I'd personally recommended waiting to buy it until it's significantly discounted. Save game corrupted at one point but managed to auto recover. Buggy - crashes quite often (about every 45 minutes of play time for me) and one race would just keep re-setting half way through and never let me finish it no matter how many times I tried. I personally also miss the old flashbacks - at least give people the option of them. No replays - this is a real shame, particularly considering the graphics. This is an arcade racer rather than a sim but the complete indestructibility of your car ruins the fun in some ways as you just shove your way to the front and use the barriers to get around some corners more effectively. Although in quality mode there is a hit to the frame rate when things get busy. Now uninstalled and I can't see myself playing it again. It's just not as good as Dirt 3 and after 7 hours I just got a little bored and decided to dash for the end rather than try every race. This is Fun for a while and then gets too samey.
